Life's big events
Baptisms and Weddings
As you will have seen from the Prime Minister's Statement on Monday 23rd March all churches are closed, including for Baptisms (Christenings) and Weddings. We have spoken to those directly affected here at Little Heath.
If you were wanting to talk to us about a wedding or baptism at some point in the future then please contact us. There is preparation that needs to be done for both of these, so please do contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can talk about future dates and what steps need to be taken now. Thank you.
If you have lost a loved one then please contact us, as our funeral ministry continues. Whilst we cannot have a service in church at this moment in time, one of our ministers will be able to lead a service at a crematorium or graveside. The government has placed restrictions on the size of these gatherings, recommending that it is immediate family only.
We are suggesting then that these funerals do go ahead, but that at some mutually agreed future date, when restrictions are lifted, a memorial service takes place in Church where wider family and friends can come and remember and give thanks together. Whilst we understand that this delay will not aid your grief, in these extraordinary times, we are asking for your understanding as we seek to uphold the scientific and medical advice that we have been given, and comply with the governments rules on social distancing.
Throughout our lives we often have big events such as marriage, children and inevitably loss. We would love to be there to serve you at those times.
